Jonathon has become more confident and now understands the why behind what he's being asked to do. Before, he was very lost and confused and often afraid to ask questions.
You've helped him actively work through problems, ask questions without fear, and not give up when things feel hard. The support you've given him with his weekly assignments and test prep have been instrumental in keeping his anxiety levels low and helping him feel supported.
Thank you for helping him, encouraging him, and pushing him to keep going.
— Michelle Thomas
I wanted to thank you because Landon said that you helped him so much on Tuesday and he did very well on his test. He said he did not understand everything until you two went over it and then it started to click. He is doing very well in his math class and we owe that to you.

My daughter Teagan has always struggled with math, especially Geometry. She would get frustrated easily and lacked confidence in her ability to understand the material. She even told me she had a hard time following her teacher in class, which made things even more challenging. Her test scores reflected that as she got a 69 on one of her tests.
Since she started working with you, I’ve seen a complete change. Teagan began to understand the concepts so much better, and for the first time, she started to feel confident in math. She told me that you explain things in a way that makes sense to her and even said that working together makes her feel smart, which meant so much to me as a parent.
Her hard work and growing confidence paid off as she raised her test score from a 69 to an 82! I’m so proud of her progress, and I’m grateful for the support and encouragement she’s received. It has truly made a difference

I’ve always had a heart for helping students, especially those who feel stuck or frustrated with math. I know how easy it is for students to lose confidence when things don’t make sense—and that’s exactly why I do what I do.
With over 20 years of classroom teaching experience, I’ve worked with so many students who started off saying, “I’m just not good at math.” And time after time, I’ve watched those same students grow, improve, and begin to believe in themselves. That’s honestly my favorite part—seeing that moment when it finally clicks and a student realizes, “Wait… I can do this.”
I focus on breaking things down in a simple, clear way so students can truly understand what they’re learning. I also make sure they feel comfortable asking questions, because learning shouldn’t feel stressful or intimidating. It should feel supportive, encouraging, and even a little exciting.
More than anything, I love seeing students succeed—not just in their grades, but in their confidence. When a student starts to feel smart and capable, everything changes. And being a part of that growth is what I enjoy most.
If your student needs extra support, a confidence boost, or just someone who can explain things in a way that finally makes sense, I’d love to help.
